My Piano Baby

Yet another adorable video of my little performer...... and I might add that her singing repertoire consists of such hits as "The wheels on the bus", "The Farmer in the Dell", "Where is Thumbkin?" and "Ring around the rosies".  Just the tune mind you, but that's not bad for 21 months!  However I can't really make out a tune in this one- it's the Tori Special.

Smiles and Snuggles

Introducing..... The Squishiest Monkey of all!
Diablo gets a BIG cuddle!
Smile for the camera Tori:-)
Bella isn't quite as soft and fluffy....
Lucky Diablo gets some nice gentle pets.....
Dada and Tori snug.....
.....and so do Tori and Mama!
Look at that rascally grin....we were going to eat pizza
Nothing like sitting in your chair with your babies
What a grown up girl Tori is becoming

Tori is getting good at smiling for the camera.  She loves to smile her squished up face smile, which is just adorable and almost the exact same grin that her Dad had when he was little.  She also loves on the dogs any chance she gets, especially nice fluffy Diablo.  I think he is her favorite, but we won't really know until she can speak more English and less "Toddlerese", which she jabbers in constantly.  When she's talking it's usually loud, especially if she's calling the pups.  And if she's moving, she's most definitely running!

Holiday Highlights II

See?  She really CAN smile!
One of our holiday photos..... cute, but not the one we ended up using.
Tori and Mama!!
Tori in her beautiful Christmas dress....  I love that dress.
Christmas morning, after present opening
Tori tries on a diaper cover that came with a dress- she likes to put them on her arms, like a purse.
Opening a gift from Auntie Maddie
Opening a gift from Dada
What could it be?  A Pooh bear bubble blower?  This was one of the most exciting gifts for her to open!
Tori in her Christmas PJ's

This Christmas was pretty magical- now I understand why people say Christmas is more fun when there are kids around.  Tori was having the best day.  I'll never forget that look on her face when she came out of her room in the morning and saw her shopping cart put together with presents in it....pure amazement and joy.  And with every present she opened, there were shrieks of delight.  Too cute.  Her Auntie Jo was visiting from Eugene for Christmas too, so it was a pretty special day.  Now she is pro at opening presents- she got lots of practice that day!

A Hunting we will go....

Ah! Victorious!
Dad shows off the tree.....pretty snazzy!
Who can resist such a sad little cold face with only one mitten on her hand?!
Tori and Diablo survey the lay of the land......
Tori gives me a cold little wave
I swear she had fun on this trip!
This was when she was discovering that icy snow can be unpredictable (hence scary)

....Hunting for a Christmas tree, that is!  We found the most perfect noble fir on our annual tree hunting trip with Kris's family out toward Diamond Lake.  Tori got to experience snow for the first time since walking.  She wasn't impressed.  The snow was pretty icy and hard to walk in.  Tori would sit in it but was too scared to try to walk in it, even with her new little snow boots that Grammy Z gave her!  Maybe we will search for fluffier snow later in winter, perhaps right now in February!

Whew!  What a whirlwind these last few months have been!  Mama's been busy having a life at the theatre and Tori's been a busy girl, growing and learning, talking and singing, and she was just a joy this holiday season.  We had bits of family in and out thru the New Year so that was extra special as well.  Hope this helps to catch up with our little girl.
